# Set Up Prime Video on a Smart TV

Most smart TVs from brands like Samsung, LG, and Sony support the **Prime Video app**. Here is how to get it running.

## Steps

**1. Get the app**

Open your TV's app store, search for **Prime Video**, then install and open it. On many TVs the app is already installed.

**2. Pick a sign-in option**

Select **Sign in and start watching** to type your Amazon email and password on the TV, or choose **Register on the Amazon website** to get a code.

**3. Enter your code**

Write down the **5 to 6 character code** on your screen. On your phone or computer, go to **amazon.com/mytv**, sign in, and enter the code.

**4. Start watching**

Your TV updates on its own once the code is accepted.
