Set Up Prime Video on a Smart TV

Most smart TVs from brands like Samsung, LG, and Sony support the Prime Video app. Here is how to get it running.

Steps

1. Get the app

   Open your TV’s app store, search for Prime Video, then install and open it. On many TVs the app is already installed.

2. Pick a sign-in option

   Select Sign in and start watching to type your Amazon email and password on the TV, or choose Register on the Amazon website to get a code.

3. Enter your code

   Write down the 5 to 6 character code on your screen. On your phone or computer, go to amazon.com/mytv, sign in, and enter the code.

4. Start watching

   Your TV updates on its own once the code is accepted.

Codes expire after a short time. If yours stops working, go back in the app to get a new code.
